OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2015. The second extraordinary Congress of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan has begun operations in the capital hotel "Rixos". First Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev has read a letter of greeting of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to participants of the Congress.

"To delegates of the plenary session of the second Congress of the National Chamber of entrepreneurs. Dear entrepreneurs, more than 1 million 200 thousand enterprises and individual entrepreneurs work in our country. Nearly 3 million people are employed in the sector of small and medium-sized businesses, social well-being of the republic depends largely on them," B. Sagintayev read.

"The development of entrepreneurship, which is the foundation of our country market economy, is a strategic priority in Kazakhstan. The share of small and medium-sized businesses in the country's economy is expected to be doubled by 2050, reaching 50 percent. It is obvious that achieving this ambitious goal is possible only if there is consolidation of efforts of business and government," he continued.

Nazarbayev said that unprecedented measures have been systematically implemented over the past years, these measures are aimed at comprehensive support of domestic entrepreneurship, creation of favorable climate for investment. Unique conditions are formed, and now the challenge consists in full development of private entrepreneurial initiative, which acquires special importance in the market conditions. National Chamber of entrepreneurs should play an important role in it, which was formed as a stable independent institution representing the interests of the business community.

According to the President, "today we are faced with a difficult situation in the global economy, which affects the domestic market. However, this opens up new possibilities. National Chamber of entrepreneurs is actively involved in the process of developing effective solutions aimed at further development of entrepreneurship in the country. The potential of this interaction gives hope for a favorable overcoming any difficulties".

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has expressed confidence that Congress will find the right solutions to improve the business environment and development in Kazakhstan.

As it is noted in the press release distributed at the event, "one of the key issues on the agenda of the Congress of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan - discussion of resizing and order payment of mandatory member’s contributions (MMC) for business entities".

The NCE Congress delegates will discuss proposals of the NCE on anti-crisis measures to support the business along with other issues.
