By the end of 2014 women-journalists that are working in automotive publications from 15 countries, have chosen the absolute winner and it was the flagship sedan of Mercedes-Benz S-Class. This car not only won in its category (premium cars), but also it was scored as the highest number of points among all competing to win cars. By the way, in Russia in 2014, sales of this model were 4396 units.

In Russia, female car was also chosen. Study on theme "Best Car for Women" was held in the framework of the project "Ratings Car of the Year" in Russia. This survey included 15.3 thousand respondents, almost 13,000 of them - men. Respondents evaluated the beauty, reliability and functionality, ease of use, and such a factor as getting driving experience on a particular model.

The winner in the overall standings was Daewoo Matiz. The same city car is the leader in the category of cars that cost up to 500 thousand rubles. In Russia in 2014 these cars it was sold 6498 units.
