OREANDA-NEWS. VNIIR shipped equipment for the needs of Transneft Baltic. Thyristor automatic transfer switch, including power transformer, control system and current limiting reactor, was delivered for Bykovo-3 pumping station, which is currently under construction in Novgorod Oblast.

VNIIR is scheduled to provide commissioning after installation.

Custom-made thyristor automatic transfer switch is designed for high-speed operation of electric motor standby power supply in emergency situations and is widely used in household utilities, thermal, power and nuclear facilities, oil & gas industry, metallurgy. Its service life is 20 years.
