OREANDA-NEWS. Charlotte Douglas International Airport in association with its tenants will host a community job fair from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Fire Academy located at 1770 Shopton Road, Charlotte, NC 28217.

Multiple companies will be present to share information about current and future job opportunities. Employers are seeking to fill open positions in housekeeping, retail, ground transportation, airline services, valet services, parking and food and beverage.

This event is being held to create awareness in the community about the wide variety of jobs available at the Airport and to fill the needs of CLT's tenants to recruit and hire qualified personnel.

Charlotte Douglas is one of the largest employers in Mecklenburg County and is credited for directly or indirectly creating over 100,000 jobs in the region by the businesses it serves. More than 18,000 workers are employed within the terminal and surrounding airfield, including approximately 10,000 American Airlines' employees.
