OREANDA-NEWS. Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd. experienced the best month on record for the all-new Canadian-built 2015 Ford Edge, with an increase in sales of 11 per cent. Canadian consumers continue to embrace the refined luxury of Lincoln leading to a sales increase of 23 per cent in June, marking five consecutive months of sales growth.

“The all-new Canadian-built 2015 Ford Edge reset the standard in the two-row utility vehicle market, and customers have taken notice by making June its best month on record,” said Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “We’re proud to build a vehicle for the world which showcases Ford’s latest technologies and is shipped to more than 100 countries.”

The all-new Ford Mustang continued its strong 2015 with a sales increase of 56 per cent in June and 37 per cent year-to-date. The 2016 Ford Explorer, which began hitting dealerships in June, experienced a sales increase of eight per cent.
