OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2015. In addition to the official agenda, in its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of RWE AG discussed the current media coverage of the Group and personnel decisions in particular. The Supervisory Board determined the following:
  • The media coverage on the Group, and in particular the speculation on the membership of the Supervisory and Management Board are harming the company. The Supervisory Board unanimously condemns this.
  • The current Supervisory Board is of the clear opinion that in Dr Werner Brandt, they have in their midst a very suitable candidate for the continuity of the Supervisory Board and also a possible choice as future Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
  • In December, the nominations committee will submit their suggestions to the Supervisory Board for the selection of Supervisory Board members representing the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting. The new Supervisory Board will then determine its new Chairman from among its members following the Annual General Meeting in 2016.
