OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2015. GM Wentzville Assembly hosted a group of 40 St. Louis area sales zone managers from Chevrolet and GMC on Friday morning to discuss plant products, quality initiatives and pass out thank you cards for distribution to Colorado and Canyon truck customers.

As part of the initiative to recognize General Motors building 500 million vehicles since its inception, Wentzville Assembly passed out 500 thank you cards signed by plant and union leadership to the top selling Chevrolet and GMC dealers in the St. Louis area.

The cards will be passed out to customers during point of sale at area dealerships.  Starbucks coffee cards with a special thank you message from GM Wentzville employees were also distributed.

“It’s our hope to build customer relationships through the dealers by passing out these cards,” said Nancy Laubenthal, Plant Manager for GM Wentzville.  “We want to remind St. Louis that we are a part of the community and appreciate their business.”

The day concluded with a plant tour through Wentzville Assembly followed by a question and answer session between sales zone managers and plant representatives.
