OREANDA-NEWS. Experts of PJSC TATNEFT’s TatNIPIneft Institute and the Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry n.a. A.E. Arbuzov of the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sci-ences were awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of science and technology for the work "Development and industrial introduction of the suite of  technologies and equipment for commercial in-field treatment of high-viscosity oil".

The prize was awarded to Sergei Sudykin, Task Supervisor (Head of the TatNIPIneft’s laborato-ry for crude oil treatment technologies), Galina Kayukova (Leading Researcher of IOPC n.a. Ar-buzov), Tatiana Kosmacheva (Leading Researcher  of OOO NPC "Oil and Gas Technologies", subsidiary of PJSC TATNEFT ), Alexander Sudykin (Senior Researcher of TatNIPIneft), Tatiana Yusupova (Leading Researcher  of IOPC n.a. Arbuzov).

The developed suite of technologies and equipment for commercial in-field treatment of high-viscosity oil is an important element in the system of stabilizing and increasing crude oil produc-tion in the Republic of Tatarstan. The scientists have carried out studies on the reserves analysis and identification of regularities of hydrocarbons formation in Permian deposits of the Republic of Tatarstan. They have also studied properties and composition of high-viscosity oil and the crude oil dehydration processes. It allowed developing new technologies and equipment for the in-field high-viscosity oil treatment, as well as for developing the concept of the oilfield infra-structure development, which in conjunction with efficient engineering developments for crude oil production and tax incentives enabled ensuring the profitability of the project for the devel-opment of high-viscosity oil reserves.
