GM-AvtoVAZ decreased the exports by 40% in 2015

OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of 2015 GM-AVTOVAZ exported 2374 SUVs Chevrolet Niva – it is less by 40.4% than a year before. As the press service of the joint venture informed the agency "AUTOSTAT", decline of exports is connected with the decrease of consumer activity in the main foreign markets of Chevrolet Niva (Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan) because of the weakening of the national currency.
The largest foreign market for the joint venture in 2015 is Kazakhstan - the republic had 39.8% of exports of Chevrolet Niva. Ukraine occupied 27.4% of the supply of the joint venture in external markets, 11.5% were to Belarus.
Concern plans for 2016, the volumes of deliveries of Chevrolet Niva for export will depend on the demand in foreign markets, said at GM-AVTOVAZ. "The priority direction of GM-AvtoVAZ is to keep the positions of Chevrolet Niva in the markets of the CIS countries", - said in the press-service of joint venture.
