OREANDA-NEWS  Belarus and Russia are developing a cooperation plan for training personnel for nuclear energy, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Energy reported on Thursday. "Belarus and Russia are developing a roadmap for cooperation in the field of personnel training for nuclear energy," the press service said.

According to the press service, the prospects for partnership in these areas were discussed at a recent meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Energy with experts from the technical and corporate academies of Rosatom, as well as the Rosenergoatom concern. Currently, the parties are working on the implementation of the agreements reached.
According to the press service, over the years of the implementation of the national nuclear energy program, Belarus has made serious steps towards the formation of a nuclear and radiation safety system and its most important elements, including the creation and operation of a system of training and advanced training of personnel. According to her, over the past 10 years, more than 800 graduates of specialized specialties of Belarusian universities and institutions of secondary special education have been accepted for distribution and redistribution at the Belarusian nuclear power plant. A corresponding state program has been developed, an important component of which was the training of young specialists in cooperation with Russian educational institutions and centers.
