OREANDA-NEWS   The Chernogolovka Group of companies has signed an agreement with the American company Kraft Heinz to purchase its baby food business, the press service of the group of companies told RIA Novosti.

"We have signed an agreement to purchase the Kraft Heinz baby food business in Russia. The deal includes two trademarks and two plants of the company - in Ivanovo and Georgievsk," the press service reported.
The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, its parameters will have to be approved by the regulator.

Kraft Heinz was founded in March 2015 after the merger of H.J. Heinz with Kraft Foods Group. It is the third largest producer of food and beverages in North America and the fifth in the world. At the moment, the company's portfolio includes brands Kraft, Heinz, ABC, Maxwell House, Planters and a number of others.
Chernogolovka has been running a baby food business since 2020. The company has its own brand "Chernogolovka baby", under which juices, milk porridges, fruit purees and baby meatballs are produced, an important part of the assortment is also baby water.
