OREANDA-NEWS China will support investment projects in the Russian Federation for the sustainable development of forest resources and deep processing of wood, according to a joint communique following the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China.

"We have agreed ... to expand cooperation in the field of forestry and jointly assist in the implementation of investment projects in Russia in such areas as sustainable development of forest resources and deep processing of wood," the document says.
