OREANDA-NEWS   The majority of Russian companies (67 percent) have replaced imported spare parts and equipment from "unfriendly countries" with Chinese ones, writes RBC with reference to a survey of enterprises conducted by the laboratory of market surveys of the Institute of Economic Policy. Gaidara (IEP).

Some companies (12 percent) were able to arrange supplies from other friendly countries — from Turkey to North Korea, others refused to use the disappeared goods in their production, and 22 percent continued to receive sub-sanctioned imports. About 54 percent switched from Western components to Russian ones.

According to the results of the past year, the trade turnover between Russia and China continued to grow, increasing by 29.3 percent in annual terms, to a record $ 190.27 billion.

In 2022, China imported $76.1 billion worth of goods to Russia, which is 12.8 percent more in annual terms. At the end of the year, Russia became the leader in terms of the growth of trade turnover with China.
