Rosstat noted the growth of production in the country for 8 months of gold and aluminum

OREANDA-NEWS In Russia, in January-August 2023, gold output increased by 3.8%, aluminum production - by 5.7%, according to Rosstat data.
In August 2023, gold production (unprocessed or semi-processed, or in powder form) decreased by 3.6% year-on-year. Compared to July 2023, production increased by 10.6%.
In total, following the results of 8 months, the volume of gold production in the country exceeded the result of the corresponding period last year by 3.8%.
Primary aluminum production in January-August 2023 increased by 5.7% year-on-year.
In August, aluminum production was 3.5% lower compared to August 2022 and July 2023.
