OREANDA-NEWS   Industrial production in the eurozone showed zero growth in June compared with May, according to Eurostat data, which shows that after a 1 percent decline in January 2026, month—on-month growth reached 0.3 percent three times and 0.4 percent once (in March).

On an annualized basis, industrial production growth also turned out to be near zero, amounting to 0.1 percent after minus 0.1 percent in May and a decrease of 2.8 percent in March.

In the EU, industrial growth was slightly more active in June, amounting to 0.2 percent month-on-month and 0.6 percent year-on-year.

At the same time, production in both leading European economies — German and French — fell by 0.5 percent month-on-month (in Germany, the indicator has been continuously decreasing since the beginning of the year), and year-on-year its growth amounted to symbolic 0.2 and 0.0 percent, respectively.

Earlier it became known that the industry of Germany, which has been experiencing many years of economic stagnation, has lost 340 thousand jobs since 2019, and according to some reports, half of them (177 thousand) factories have lost in 2025 alone.
