The volume of drug production in the Kuban increased by 36% over the year

OREANDA-NEWS The volume of production of medicines and medical devices in Kuban has increased by 36.5% since the beginning of the year compared to the same period in 2022. This was announced by the governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev in Telegram.
"Our main task is to support import substitution initiatives. There is a request for young specialists and innovative technologies," the message says.
According to the data provided by Krasnodarstat, according to the results of January—August of this year, the production of medicines increased by 20.2% compared to last year's figures, serums and vaccines — by 36.9%. The industrial production index in the region increased to 108.4%. Among the growth drivers are import—substituting industries (production of medicines and medical materials, textiles, furniture, electrical equipment, finished metal products, chemical and food products).
