OREANDA-NEWS  Genesis JSC has announced its intention to file a bankruptcy lawsuit against Russia's oldest cosmetics factory, Svoboda. The reason for the claims was a debt of 125 million rubles. Kommersant writes about this with reference to the data of the Fedresurs portal.

The article notes that Alexey Chetvergov, the owner and president of the beverage and food manufacturer Chernogolovka (Chernogolovka, Lyubyatovo, Gipopo and others), is in charge of Genesis.

Svoboda produces products such as Fluorodent and Periodontol toothpastes, Extel hair care products, Gamma hair dye, Ballet cream, and others. The company is based on the facilities of an enterprise that opened back in pre-revolutionary Russia.

The manufacturers stressed that they intend to settle the claims in accordance with the procedure established by law. Nevertheless, sources of the publication indicate that there are rumors about the sale of Svoboda in the cosmetics market, and one of the main contenders is the Chernogolovka structures, although the current owners are inclined to a different option.

Earlier it was reported that the Federal Tax Service (FTS) filed a bankruptcy lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of Khakassia against the local producer of Alpina beer due to a debt of 7.2 billion rubles.
