OREANDA-NEWS Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline from Ukraine to Slovakia were interrupted due to power outages. This was reported by the Slovak channel TA3.
According to representatives of Mero, the owner and operator of the Czech section of the Druzhba pipeline, there were no interruptions in oil supplies to the Czech Republic due to the availability of sufficient operational reserves in Slovakia.
Earlier it was reported that another buyer of Russian oil, Hungary, stopped receiving it. This happened after a Ukrainian drone struck a pipeline transformer station. It was noted that the station is being restored, but it is not yet known when pumping will resume.
Hungary said it was saddened by this attack, as Druzhba is an important component of Hungary's energy security.
