Belgium is among the top 3 buyers of Russian gas

OREANDA-NEWS Belgium ousted Spain from the top three buyers of Russian gas last year, RIA Novosti found out after studying data from Eurostat.
Its share in the total imports of Russian gas by the European Union last year increased to 13% from 7% in the previous year, thanks to which the country rose from seventh to third place in the ranking of the largest buyers of Russian blue fuel.
France and Hungary retained the first and second places, while the shares of both countries also showed positive dynamics - France - up to 24% from 20% a year earlier, and Hungary - up to 21% from 17%.
