OREANDA-NEWS  India has bought huge amounts of energy resources, but cannot get them. This was reported by Bloomberg with reference to the special Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Shipping.

It turned out that 1.67 million tons of crude oil were stuck on tankers due to the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz. A similar fate befell 320,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas and 200,000 tons of liquefied natural gas.

In such a situation, the Indian authorities have already called on local gas distribution companies to reduce the time required to connect consumers to gas pipelines.
