OREANDA-NEWS  Russia intends to fulfill its promise to reduce oil exports by 500 thousand barrels per day in August, and the export schedule for the third quarter will be the base level for the reduction. At the same time, already in July, oil companies actually reduced sales to the required volumes, it will not be necessary to further reduce production. Kommersant writes about this with reference to two sources.

Initially, oil exports through the Transneft system were expected to reach 4.16 million barrels per day, of which 3 million were supplied through the ports of the Baltic, Novorossiysk and the Far Eastern Kozmino. In the adjusted schedule, deliveries via the Baltic and Novorossiysk have been reduced, but the volumes going through Kozmino are almost untouched.

Now the total volume of supplies by sea is planned at the level of 2.9-3 million barrels per day (the Transneft system does not include shipments from Arctic fields and Sakhalin), and taking into account pumping through pipelines — 4.1 million.

According to Kpler estimates, since the beginning of July, shipments by sea have averaged 3.1 million barrels per day, while in June there were 3.4 million, and in May — 3.9 million.
