OREANDA-NEWS   Exchange prices for gas in Europe at the beginning of trading on Wednesday are rising by 11%, exceeding 720 dollars per thousand cubic meters, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

April (upcoming) futures on the TTF index (Europe's largest hub located in the Netherlands) opened trading at 10.00 Moscow time at $ 706.7 (+8.5%). And as of 11.03 Moscow time, their cost was 723.6 dollars (+11.1%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the estimated price of the previous trading day – $ 651.6 per thousand cubic meters.

Gas prices in Europe on Tuesday exceeded $780 per thousand cubic meters for the first time since February 2, 2023.
