OREANDA-NEWS  Russian gas sold to Moldova through Ukraine does not fully reach Chisinau, Gazprom said. Gazprom records the subsidence in Ukraine of Russian gas intended for delivery to Moldovan consumers under a contract with Moldovagaz, the company's Telegram channel says.

The amount of natural gas supplied by Gazprom to the Sudzha gas measuring station (GIS) for transit to Chisinau through the territory of a neighboring country exceeds the physical volume transferred at the border of Ukraine with Moldova, the company explained.

On November 21, Moldovagaz, in accordance with the contract, paid Gazprom part of the supplies for November. The volume of gas actually delivered, for which payment for current supplies was violated in November, is 24.945 million cubic meters of gas, while the total accumulated volume of subsidence on the territory of Ukraine is 52.52 million cubic meters, Gazprom clarified.

"While maintaining the transit imbalance through Ukraine for Moldovan consumers, on November 28, from 10:00, Gazprom will begin reducing the supply of gas to GIS Sudzha for transit through Ukraine in the amount of daily shortfall," the organization said.
As of November 22, Gazprom supplies blue fuel to GIS Sudzha for transit through the territory of Ukraine in the amount of 42.9 million cubic meters per day.

After the announcement of a possible decrease in supplies through the former Soviet Republic, the exchange prices for gas in Europe sharply accelerated the growth rate. The next — December — futures on the index of the largest European TTF hub, located in the Netherlands, opened trading at $ 1,255.6 per thousand cubic meters (plus two percent). In the first half of the day, the growth rate remained at this indicator.
