OREANDA-NEWS  Gazprom has produced 359.7 billion cubic meters of gas since the beginning of the year to date. This is 19.2% (85.3 billion cubic meters) less than last year.

The demand for the company's gas from the gas transportation system in the domestic market during this period decreased by 5.9% (by 12.3 billion cubic meters). Exports to non-CIS countries amounted to 93.2 billion cubic meters, which is 43.4% (71.6 billion cubic meters) less than in the same period of 2021.

Gazprom drew attention to the fact that as of November 13, 69.7 billion cubic meters of gas were pumped into underground gas storage facilities (UGS) in Europe (plus 1.1 billion cubic meters compared to the end of October).

The Russian supplier, on whom Europe previously depended significantly for its energy security, points out that "even the maximum reserves in the UGS of large European countries do not guarantee a reliable passage of the upcoming autumn-winter period (OPP)." At the same time, the risks of shortage, according to experts, have now shifted from the coming winter to the following periods.
