OREANDA-NEWS. Russain energy corporation Gazprom suspended gas supplies to Germany through the pipeline Yamal–Europe from July 6 to July 11 in connection with the planned maintenance works.

This was reported by the German gas transportation company Gascade Gastransport. According to it, gas reception in Mallnow on the border between Poland and Germany was suspended at 7:00 Moscow time. Gas supplies will be resumed on July 11 at 7:00 Moscow time. As the company explains, the suspension of supplies is connected with works at a compressor station.

The gas pipeline Yamal–Europe passes through four countries: Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany. The design capacity of the pipeline is 32.9 billion cubic meters per year. The length of the Russian section is 402 kilometers, 575 kilometers of the pipeline passes through Belarus, the Polish section is 683 kilometers long. The westernmost point is the compressor station Mallnow.
