OREANDA-NEWS The head of Gazprom (MOEX: GAZP), Alexey Miller, said that the company's pipeline supplies to China could reach the volume of supplies to Europe. He said this in response to a question from the correspondent of VGTRK Pavel Zarubin. The video was published in the Telegram channel of the journalist.

"Pipeline supplies to China in the very near future may reach the level of supply volumes that we had for export to Western Europe," Mr. Miller said.

Earlier, Kazakhstan announced a new contract on gas exports to China in 2023-2026. At the same time, during the heating season, the government of the country allowed a complete rejection of exports in order to ensure the domestic market. The contract was signed two weeks after Gazprom began gas supplies to Uzbekistan in transit through Kazakhstan.
