OREANDA-NEWS  Gazprom reported that Moldovagaz paid for gas supplies that were "settling" in Ukraine. All violations have been eliminated, so Gazprom will not reduce the supply of gas for transit to Moldova. But the company warned that it reserves the right to reduce or completely stop gas supplies in case of violation of their payment.

"It was decided not to reduce the gas supply to the GIS "Sudzha" for transit to Moldova. At the same time, we draw attention to the regular violation by the Moldovan side of contractual obligations in terms of payment for Russian gas supplies. Gazprom reserves the right to reduce or completely stop gas supplies in case of violation of their payment",— stated in the Russian company.

On November 22, Gazprom threatened to cut fuel supplies to Moldova. The company claimed that since the end of September, the country has been selling part of the gas coming under the contract to Ukraine. Kiev said that we are talking about legitimate virtual reverse operations. Moldova explained that the volumes of gas stored in Ukraine are reserves that are needed to avoid shortages.
