OREANDA-NEWS Hungarian oil and gas company MOL is ready to double the supply of oil and petroleum products to Serbia to help Belgrade with energy supplies, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said.

"MOL, the largest Hungarian company and one of the largest energy companies in the region, is ready to increase the volume of oil and petroleum products supplies to Serbia. In November, MOL doubled its shipments to Serbia and will continue to increase them in December. In the last month of the year, MOL will increase the volume of crude oil and petroleum products supplies to Serbia by two and a half times," Szijjarto said at a press conference with Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Dubravka Jedovic-Handanovic.

The minister stressed that Serbia can count on Hungary's support, especially now, "when the security of energy supply is under threat," Budapest "uses all available means" to ensure uninterrupted oil supplies to Serbia in the future, despite all the difficulties.
