OREANDA-NEWS  Hungarian oil and gas company MVM has signed a contract with French Engie for the supply of 4 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the period from 2028 to 2038, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said.

"Today, we signed the longest-term LNG purchase agreement for Hungary with the French company Engie. This long-term agreement guarantees us the annual purchase of 400 million cubic meters of natural gas from 2028 to 2038, which will total 4 billion cubic meters," Szijjarto said at a press conference in Budapest after the signing ceremony.
