As indicated in the department, on Monday, August 14, at 9:30 local time (2:30 Moscow time), the FSB reported the smell of gas in the area of the main gas pipeline on the territory of the Ussuri GO. "The relevant services are working. A gas pipeline burst without ignition. There are no socially significant objects, residential buildings and roads in the immediate vicinity," the ministry noted.
Official comments from the authorities have not yet been received.
In May, an explosion on a gas pipeline in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO) occurred during scheduled maintenance of the facility. The emergency in the Russian region occurred during the planned cleaning of the gas pipeline.
