OREANDA-NEWS  The next rating of Russian regions in terms of fuel availability was compiled by RIA Novosti experts. Yamal and the capital hold the palm of the championship again, and the Caucasian republics are outsiders. In general, in the first half of the year, gasoline in the country rose in price faster than in 2022: in June, the average price of AI-92 was 48.37 rubles per liter, which is 2.5 percent more than in December 2022. The dynamics fit into the framework of consumer inflation, which, recall, is 2.8 percent.

The amount of fuel available for wages was determined by dividing the average monthly salary in the region minus personal income tax for the period from May 2022 to April 2023 by the average regional gasoline price in June 2023, - the analysts explained.

So, the leaders of the rating were YANAO, Moscow and Chukotka: their residents can buy more than 2000 liters of AI-92 gasoline per month (with an average of 1196 in Russia).

In eight more regions - Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yugra, Magadan and Sakhalin regions, Kamchatka Krai, St. Petersburg, Murmansk Region and Yakutia - car owners can buy more than 1,500 liters of fuel per month.
