OREANDA-NEWS   Against the background of missile strikes between Iran and Israel, oil prices went up again. This is evidenced by data from the London ICE exchange.

The price of the August Brent crude futures soared 4.5 percent, exceeding $ 97 per barrel. July WTI futures rose by the same amount, to 94.7 dollars.

On the eve of June 7, Iran fired several rockets at northern Israel, after which the IDF reported strikes on military targets in the central and western parts of the Islamic Republic. Such mutual attacks reduce the likelihood of reaching a truce in the near future, which is fraught with continued difficulties with oil supplies.

Earlier it was reported that due to the sharp rise in oil prices, Russia's oil and gas revenues reached 678.9 billion rubles in May.

This result made it possible to practically stop the growth of the budget deficit, which exceeded six trillion rubles.
