OREANDA-NEWS  The construction of a new Primorsky NPP in Russia is scheduled to begin in December 2027, Rosenergoatom Concern (Rosatom's electric power division) has announced.

The decision to accelerate the commissioning of the Primorsky NPP until 2035 was made in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation regarding the advanced development of the Far Eastern Federal District, according to the Telegram channel of Rosenergoatom.

"The first concrete is scheduled to be poured in December 2027, the first block will be commissioned in 2033, and the second in 2035," the report says.
