OREANDA-NEWS  There are no concerns related to the condition of the power units of the Zaporozhye NPP today, said Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev.

"We have no concerns related to the condition of the blocks today," he said, answering questions from guests of the Primakov Readings taking place in Moscow.

"Unfortunately, I can't calm you down at all, because the situation around the station remains tense - there are just battles going on a few dozen kilometers away, explosions are heard. There have been no arrivals at the station lately, and there have been arrivals in the city of Energodar, including with victims," Likhachev added.

Zaporizhia NPP is located on the left bank of the Dnieper River near Energodar. This is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity - there are six gigawatt power units at the station. In October 2022, the nuclear power plant became the property of Russia.
