OREANDA-NEWS. Dmitry Kozak, the deputy head of the Russian presidential administration, reported that oil supplies to Belarus will be carried out by companies according to a market price. So, the Russian authorities will not interfere in the process of shaping its value.

“If we provide discounts, we would need to introduce state regulation of the oil market, but we cannot do this. We cannot constantly change the rules of the game, putting our oil companies in an incomprehensible position,” the politician said. Kozak also added that Russia will supply gas to Belarus in 2020 on the terms of 2019. Previously, the agreement of the two countries was designed just for two months. “We agreed to maintain the terms of gas supplies for 2019 and will act in this vein. This condition applies to the whole year 2020,” Kozak explained.
