OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and the Philippines discussed the supply of energy resources and the prospect of cooperation in the electric power industry, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation reported.

Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Roman Marshavin held talks with Minister of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines Sharon Garin. The event took place in Manila on the sidelines of the relevant ministerial meeting of the participating States of the East Asian Summit.

"They discussed the supply of energy resources, the export of domestic technologies and equipment, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the electric power industry," the report says.
