OREANDA-NEWS Russia has increased gasoline exports by almost 40 percent since the beginning of 2023 compared to the same period last year. 

According to sources, Russia increased gasoline exports in the period from early January to mid-April by 38 percent, to about 1.8 million tons. During the same period, the production of raw materials increased to 11.8 million tons, which is 5 percent more than in 2022. Gasoline reserves at refineries and oil depots exceeded 2 million tons.

Russian diesel exports have decreased by 3 percent since the beginning of the year, to 9.5 million tons. Its production volumes amounted to 23.8 million tons, which is 7.5 percent more than last year's figures. In the first third of April, diesel fuel exports increased by 8 percent year-on-year (up to 894,000 tons).
