OREANDA-NEWS  In the first seven months of 2026, Russia supplied 4,226 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China, which is 26.1% more than in the same period of 2025, according to data from the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China, which was studied by RIA Novosti.

In value terms, the purchase of LNG from Russia cost China $2.148 billion, showing an increase of 8.3% compared to the same period in 2025, when China paid $1.984 billion for 3.352 million tons of Russian LNG.

By the end of 2025, Russia supplied a record 9.799 million tons of LNG to China, which is 18.3% more than in 2024 and 51 times more than in 2015.
