OREANDA-NEWS In July, after a long break, Belarus resumed sales of gasoline and diesel fuel on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, and in September sharply increased them. This is reported by RBC with reference to the site's data and information from its representative.
Over the past three months, 96.9 thousand tons have been sold at auctions, which is 36 percent more than in the same period last year. At the same time, in the first month of autumn, the purchase of Belarusian gasoline by Russian gas stations increased by 168 percent in monthly terms, and diesel fuel by 83 percent.
Most of the sales came from diesel fuel (69.1 thousand tons), as well as Ai-95 gasoline (23.2 thousand tons). The bidding for Ai-92 and Ai-100 gasoline was insignificant.
According to the newspaper, the last time Belarus supplied gasoline and diesel fuel to Russia was last fall. The current resumption of sales coincided with problems in the Russian fuel market related to a large number of unscheduled repairs at oil refineries due to drone attacks.
