OREANDA-NEWS  In the first seven months of 2026, Russia supplied 66.433 million tons of oil to China, which is 14.9% more than in the same period of 2025, according to data from the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China, which was studied by RIA Novosti.

In value terms, the purchase of oil in Russia cost China $ 38.178 billion, which is 28.8% more than in the same period of 2025, when China purchased 57.81 million tons of oil in Russia for $ 29.648 billion.

Separately, in July 2026, China imported 9.153 million tons of oil from Russia worth 5.036 billion dollars. The volume of supplies increased by 5.2% compared to July last year, when Russia supplied China with 8.704 million tons of oil worth 4.379 billion dollars. In value terms, the growth reached 15%.

Russia has been a major supplier of oil to China for many years in a row. According to official statistics, China purchased 100.723 million tons of oil from Russia in 2025, which is 7.1% less than in 2024.
