OREANDA-NEWS  In September, fuel supplies from Belarusian oil refineries to Russia soared several times. In particular, gasoline purchases increased four times compared to August, to 49 thousand tons. This is reported by Reuters with reference to informed sources.

The volume of diesel fuel supplies to Russia increased to 33 thousand tons. At the same time, Belarusian fuel continues to be exported through Russian ports, but in the period from January to September, the volume of transit decreased by 40 percent, to 1.17 million tons, which the agency's interlocutors attribute to a reduction in the volume of oil refining.

There are two refineries operating in the republic — Novopolitskiy and Mozyrskiy. Their nominal capacity is 12 million tons of oil per year, but the actual processing is usually a quarter less.
