OREANDA-NEWS  The OPEC+ Eight will be able to increase oil production in October by 166 thousand barrels per day, taking into account the updated compensation plan for oil overproduction, Russia - by 42 thousand barrels per day, follows from calculations by RIA Novosti based on OPEC data.

The OPEC secretariat published on Wednesday updated schedules for previously allowed excess production levels for OPEC+ members with voluntary reductions. According to them, in total, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Oman must compensate 203 thousand barrels per day in October. Two more participants, Saudi Arabia and Algeria, did not allow over-production.

In early September, these eight countries announced that they would begin to withdraw from the restrictions on 1.65 million barrels per day in excess of quotas. According to the plan, they can increase production by 137 thousand barrels per day in October, to 33,017 million barrels per day.
