OREANDA-NEWS The price of the main export grade of Russian Urals oil has increased due to increased demand in India amid a new escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. The rise in price, citing a number of its own sources, is reported by Reuters.
It is noted that this week, discounts on Urals with the nearest delivery date decreased to 1-2 dollars per barrel against Brent, although at the beginning of the month they reached 10 dollars, returning to the levels of the end of winter.
"Indian refineries are purchasing large volumes of Russian oil this year, as it has proven itself well due to stable supplies," said one of the agency's interlocutors.
Meanwhile, after a short pause, the price of Brent rose above $ 90 per barrel again amid new threats from US President Donald Trump, who promised to strike Iran "without mercy."
