OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian government has extended the protective duty on fuel exports for non-producers to 50,000 rubles per ton until 2028, according to a cabinet resolution.

The amendments are being made to the document that established in October 2023 that the coefficient n for the customs duty on fuel exports is assumed to be zero if the declarant can provide one of the documents confirming that he is an oil refiner. If he cannot confirm that he has processing capacity, the coefficient n is assumed to be 50 thousand rubles per ton.

Previously, this measure was in effect until the end of 2025.
