OREANDA-NEWS  Fuel tanks on the railway tracks caught fire due to a shell hit in Makeyevka. This was reported on Monday in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"At 04:06 Moscow time, the 101 line received a message about a fire at an oil depot located on Antropova Street in the Chervonogvardeysky district of the city of Makeyevka. Gorenje Gorenje installed two fuel tanks with a volume of 70 cubic meters on the railway track outside the oil depot, as well as the burning of three stationary tanks in one collapse of 60 cubic meters, located 20-25 m from the railway track, "- said in a Telegram channel.

The reason was the hit of an explosive object, the Ministry of Emergency Situations added.

The ministry added that 20 pieces of equipment, 84 personnel, as well as a fire train were involved in the elimination of the fire. "Two combat sites have been created: one is aimed at eliminating the burning of stationary tanks on an area of 300 sq. m, the second is on the railway track with tanks on an area of 350 sq. m," the report says.
