OREANDA-NEWS Free sale of fuel is available at nine gas stations of the Atan network in Sevastopol, the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev announced on Friday.
"Starting at 10:00 a.m., AI-92 and AI-95 Ultra and DT Ultra and AI-100 fuel brands will be freely available at 9 Atan gas stations," Razvozhaev wrote on his Facebook channel.
In another large network of gas stations on the peninsula, Tes, refueling is carried out only using QR codes issued.
As reported, on May 22, due to logistical difficulties, restrictions on gas stations for the sale of fuel in 20 liters per person were introduced in Sevastopol, and restrictions on the sale of Ai-95 gasoline were introduced in Crimea on May 29. As early as May 31, restrictions were extended to the Ai-92, while the peninsula's two largest gas station chains, Atan and TPP, stopped the free sale of Ai-95, and vacations were carried out only on coupons. On June 4, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced that the free sale of gasoline in Crimea would be completely suspended for the coming days.
Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said that an online fuel metering and distribution system via QR codes has started operating in the city, allowing residents to purchase a limited amount of gasoline and diesel fuel in conditions of shortage and avoid queues at gas stations.
