OREANDA-NEWS  It is necessary to accelerate the adoption of regulatory legal acts to promptly meet the demand for fuel in Russia, the Russian government says.

On Tuesday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on the situation on the fuel market.

"The need was noted to accelerate the adoption of related regulatory legal acts that will allow us to quickly meet the demand for fuel and contribute to the early stabilization of the fuel supply situation," the report said.

Fuel supply disruptions have occurred in Russia this summer. To improve the situation, the government has taken a number of measures, including banning fuel exports, providing tax incentives for imports and production growth in the country.
