OREANDA-NEWS  Aviation kerosene reserves in Russia are at the usual level, and it is possible to increase them further through production, the Ministry of Energy said.

"Jet fuel stocks at the beginning of August this year are at the standard level for this product. In addition, it is currently possible to increase additional reserves due to production," the ministry said in a statement on the Maks platform.

In June, Azimut Airlines announced a shortage of jet fuel and rising fuel prices. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Air Transport Agency are investigating the situation with the provision of fuel for Azimut, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev said at the same time. And the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Dmitry Yadrov reported that there is no shortage of jet fuel in Russia. The FAS does not record complaints about airline ticket prices, the head of the department, Maxim Shaskolsky, said earlier.
