OREANDA-NEWS  The Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) was temporarily left without external power on the night of June 3. This was stated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), TASS reports.

It is specified that the external power supply of the station stopped for about 20 minutes. This has happened 17 times since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine.

"The power outage was caused by a drone strike at the Nikopolskaya substation, located opposite the nuclear power plant on the banks of the Dnieper River," the IAEA said.
