OREANDA-NEWS The cost of diesel fuel has again updated the record, rising to 64.3 thousand rubles per ton, according to data from the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPbMTSB).

At the beginning of trading, the cost of fuel was 63.2 thousand rubles per ton. Thus, it has risen in price by 1.71 percent. The cost of fuel oil reached 34.4 thousand rubles per ton, having risen by 0.36 percent since the beginning of trading.

The cost of Ai-92 gasoline decreased by 0.34 percent, reaching 62.24 thousand rubles per ton. The price of Ai-95 gasoline reached 68.7 thousand rubles per ton, rising by 0.38 percent.

Earlier, the government obliged oil companies to sell more gasoline and diesel on the stock exchange. These measures are designed to stabilize the market situation, which has become more complicated due to the sharp increase in fuel costs since April.
